The intense fear of losing a close one can make you feel uncomfortable and cause distress. You may be at a point in life wherein you have lost a loved one and see no point in leading a happy life. Most of us take time to overcome grief as they create a void nothing else can fill in.

Life can be metaphoric to a train, with us being passengers having different destinations. Some get to depart pretty early, while others at the last stop. Similarly, some have a shorter lifespan while others have a longer one. All we need to focus on is how fascinating our journey is before we reach our destination.

You may lose someone for eternity or life. Learning to keep yourself from losing your control and accepting reality can be painful, but it is the only way to deal with the grief.

You may have different plans for your life, but those plans can deviate within seconds. Be it in your professional or personal life, and you will face several uncertainties. This fear constantly keeps you from taking a risk and try new things in life.

This fear usually exaggerates when we try and compare ourselves with people around us. No matter how good you are, people always find reasons to criticize, which can be due to the jealous nature of human behavior.

Rather than understanding their motive, you try to feel inferior and degrade yourself for not being good enough.

When you are satisfied with your performance, the fear of people’s criticism doesn’t matter because, for you, it’s not about the race, but it’s about the learnings of the race.

As rightly pointed initially, these fears are perhaps irrational thoughts in our minds and may never reach reality. But we tend to spend our precious time on them, making ourselves believe they exist. Breathe in, breathe out and enjoy the little things around.
